SmoothMusic.org Signs New Licensing Agreement SmoothMusic.org has just signed a new
licensing agreement through the Joint Performance Licensing program. The new agreement covers SmoothMusic.org’s royalty obligations to ASCAP, BMI, and SoundExchange. At
this point the license does not cover any of the music licensed with SESAC, however, this may change depending on the demand
for SESAC music. SmoothMusic.org is very excited about this
license, as it allows the SmoothMusic DJs to choose
from a wide variety of music without having to be concerned about obtaining
royalty waivers for every Musical Work. |
